Manga artist Nukosama-chan has been using the web service "Soudanbako" since its launch in April 2022, answering the worries and questions of many followers.
In December 2022, she also served as the 1-day mama at "Snack Nukosama-chan," personally answering fans' real-life concerns in person.
When Nukosama-chan was serializing her work at "Tsubuyaki GANMA!", manga artist Yashiro Azuki was also serializing there at the same time, and the two had a close relationship, often helping each other with work.
As for Yashiro Azuki —
in a past collaboration with Mynavi, he spent approximately two years sharply resolving the concerns of job-seeking students.
Both are regarded highly by their followers for "consultation" content.
Following Nukosama-chan's call to "battle Yashiro Azuki," Soudanbako Inc. prepared this arena for their battle over the title of Consultation King.

Under this rule, they battle it out and collect votes from the audience.
Votes are tallied after each consultation, and the one with more votes earns a point.
The winner is decided over 5 total rounds.
The "Consultation King" who wins takes all the appearance fee for the day!!
Voting is conducted using the poll feature on Soudanbako's Twitter account, where each contestant answers actual questions submitted by users, and the online audience judges which answer was more convincing.

The consultation content was gathered in advance from Soudanbako's own Soudanbako — real questions from real users!
Many consultations were submitted!
I had doubts about human relationships and work culture and ended up quitting a job I once thought I'd do for the rest of my life. I have some regrets, but the thought of dealing with terrible people no matter where I work (it's that kind of industry) fills me with dread. Most of all, I'm sad that I've come to dislike the work itself. I'd love a word of encouragement for my currently unmotivated self.
I'm having an affair with a married senior colleague at my company. Both of us have received offers from a rival company. I think ending things with him means going to a different company, but since our field is specialized, there are almost no positions with better conditions. The work is also attractive, and if it weren't for our relationship, I'd transfer immediately. How can I advance my career while ending things with him on good terms?
Hello, Yashiro-san and Nukosama-chan. I'm in my third year of middle school, and I have a crush on someone — my teacher. They were very attentive when I consulted them about bullying, and before I knew it, I had fallen for them. I'm thinking of confessing on graduation day, but since they're a teacher, would it cause trouble for them?
During the rehearsal, they practiced by answering real submitted consultations that unfortunately didn't make it into the event!

(That's a really intriguing consultation…!!!)
And here are their two responses…!!!

(They're saying the same thing…!!!)
Then the main event began, and the talk battle was underway.
A full 5-round match was held.
The result was 3 to 2 — Yashiro Azuki's victory!
He brilliantly claimed the title of the inaugural "Consultation King"!
The championship trophy was a yellow traffic cone in homage to Yashiro Azuki.
Engraved with the words "Congratulations! 1st Consultation King."

When asked "Who do you want to challenge next?" in the winner's interview, Yashiro Azuki declared: "Next, I'll take on Hiroyuki!"
He showed his resolve to team up with Nukosama-chan and Yashiro Azuki's mother — three against one — to challenge Hiroyuki (Nishimura Hiroyuki), the founder of the internet forum 2channel and entrepreneur.
After the talk battle, a "Special Consultation Session" was held!
The two answered the live concerns of audience members in person!
In about 30 minutes, they addressed the worries of 5 fans, and the live Q&A generated huge resonance from the audience.
Consultations submitted via Soudanbako's own Soudanbako were also answered!
I've been really looking forward to today's event! I'd like to ask a question from the audience. I'm troubled by a difference in financial sensibility with a friend. A friend of ten years works in a field with low income, while I run a business and have relatively more spending money. I want to hang out with my friend, so I invite them, but they always say they can't because they have no money. Since I want to spend time with them, I offer to cover the costs, and they always thank me — it's about ¥10,000 at most and maybe once a month, so I think of it as buying their time when I want to hang out. But I worry whether constantly making them say they have no money is hurting their pride or sense of shame, and whether continuing this will make them see me as a cash cow.
Nice to meet you! I'm here at the venue. I work at a hostess club. My boyfriend is a business owner, and he gives me the totally valid advice to do something that builds my future — some kind of work or study. I graduated from university but haven't done anything particularly noteworthy since, so I understand it's a good suggestion, but nothing immediately comes to mind, and I'm at a loss.

After the event ended, a surprise signing session by Yashiro Azuki and Nukosama-chan was held.
The venue was filled with a huge wave of excitement!

Special merchandise on the day included a "signed mini traffic cone lottery"!
All proceeds went directly to the "Consultation King" — a profit-free merch sale where many fans participated as an "offering."
