To all DYSTOPIA users,
Thank you for your continued use of DYSTOPIA. This is Shogo Omori, CEO of CAEN Inc.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the recent removal of the Android version of "DYSTOPIA" from the Google Play Store.
In response to this situation, we attempted to rebuild and restore the current Flutter-based app, but it became clear that stable rebuilding was difficult due to issues with API key management and dependency problems that had accumulated over the extended period without updates. As a result, we have determined that it is not feasible to continue providing a stable service in its current state, and we have chosen to redevelop the app from scratch as a new solution.
Therefore, CAEN Inc. will redevelop "DYSTOPIA" completely from scratch using a new technology stack (Expo/React Native), without using the source code of the current Flutter version. We are targeting approximately one week for the release of the new version, and the specific release date will be announced on our official X account and company website as information becomes available.
The initial release will include only the minimum necessary features, but we will continue to release updates after launch and work to improve the service.
Additionally, in connection with this renewal, in order to fundamentally resolve the technical and rights-related issues, we will have the engineer who developed the current Flutter version manage its source code, while CAEN will focus exclusively on the development and operation of the new Expo version.
In the event that the Flutter version is re-released in the future, it will be launched under a new name and design different from "DYSTOPIA" to avoid confusion among users.
Regarding user data accumulated in the Flutter version, due to technical constraints and personal information protection considerations, we will not be migrating data to the new system. We sincerely ask for your understanding and acceptance of this decision.
For users who currently have active subscriptions, we are currently working out the specifics of appropriate compensation. We will provide further details when the new Expo version is released.
We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused, and sincerely ask for your continued support and understanding. We will do everything we can to bring you the new DYSTOPIA, and we hope you will warmly look forward to it.
