On Thursday, October 30, 2025, CAEN Inc. CEO Shogo Omori participated as an individual in the "Tokyo AI Hackathon" held at AWS Startup Loft Tokyo, organized by Raycast, Anthropic, Vercel, Supabase, and Raycast Community Japan.
This event focused on developing desktop products using Raycast AI Extensions and MCP servers, held in a hackathon format over approximately 7 hours. Developers and community organizers from each company gathered at the venue, engaging in lively discussions and development both in-person and online.
Omori developed and presented at the venue a "Raycast extension that automatically highlights and masks sensitive information from screenshots based on natural language instructions specifying the areas to emphasize."
This extension enables:
· Easy screenshot capture directly from Raycast
· Natural Japanese instructions like "highlight only the amounts in this table" or "hide the address part" to highlight desired areas and automatically mask personal information
· Save and share the processed image with a single click
The goal was to effortlessly control what information to "show or hide" in various scenarios such as screen sharing at work or development environments, bug reporting, and social media posts.
We will continue to explore new value through AI, tool development, hackathons, and more.
