Team "Fight Iizuka," in which CAEN Inc. CEO Shogo Omori participates, has been selected as a finalist in the Service Development Division and will advance to the Final Stage of the "Tokyo Governor's Cup Open Data Hackathon 2025" hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
The "Tokyo Governor's Cup Open Data Hackathon" is a contest in which participants develop and propose services or products that use the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's various open data sets to solve social issues.
The product co-developed by Omori and Jun Hamamura, "Mini Nakano City Simulator for the Employment Ice Age," uses open data from Nakano City to visualize — through simulation — the potential for community and employment support for the so-called "employment ice age generation."
The Final Stage will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, where final presentations and judging will take place.
