On October 12, 2025, our CEO Shogo Omori participated in the "Apple Foundation Models Framework Hackathon" held at Apple Japan (Roppongi).
On the day, Omori formed an impromptu team with participants he met on-site and developed a prototype of an app that uses AI to analyze iOS Calendar events and automatically set optimal alarms.
This product leverages Apple's latest Foundation Models framework and AlarmKit.
The AI reads calendar entries, automatically generates alarm labels such as "absolutely cannot oversleep" based on the content and importance of each event, and sets alarms via AlarmKit.
Despite the short development time on-site, the event allowed us to explore a new approach to incorporating AI technology into everyday problem-solving.
We will continue to drive product development that contributes to the social implementation of AI and improved user experiences.
